(Newser) – A sad ending to the story of the first woman to get pregnant with a transplanted donor womb: Derya Sert has had the pregnancy terminated, according to the Akdeniz University Hospital. The Turkish woman's eight-week pregnancy was terminated because the fetal heartbeat had stopped. Sert, who was born without a womb and had one transplanted in August 2011, became pregnant after doctors placed an embryo into her womb, using one of her own eggs. The 22-year-old will receive new fertilization treatment to try and get pregnant again, the hospital says.

Can you say " adoption?" She is too damn ugly to be having children, anyway!

Seriously, the earth is over populated with normal children, do we need to fool with nature making defective mothers reproduce artificially and creating genetic time bombs for the future generations?

The best way to get from Cleveland to Columbus is not by way of Flagstaff, Arizona. In other words -- adopt. There's no shortage of children who need loving homes.
