(Newser) – Kermit Gosnell, the abortion doctor convicted of killing three babies he delivered by snipping their spines with scissors, will not face the death penalty. The 72-year-old waived his right to appeal yesterday's conviction and will instead spend the rest of his life in prison, reports AP. Given his age, it's unlikely Gosnell would have been executed before exhausting all of his appeals anyway, the story notes. Under the deal he struck, Gosnell has no possibility of parole, reports NBC Philadelphia.

So he is guilty on a small handful of murders because the botched abortions caused the babies to exit alive and he had to snip the spinal cords to finish them off but how about the hundreds or thousand that were mere centimeters from being outside the womb and the abortions were successful inside the womb? If he is not guilty for those then we are. Those murders are on us all.

It is because of people like him that we need to have meaningful discussions about limiting abortion rights. You know like we have been doing with the 2nd Amendment after Lanza ONLY killed 20 kids

At his age how long could a life sentence be? At least he'll not have to operate a medical practice under the disasterous Obama Care.
