(Newser) – Last night's season finale of Saturday Night Live didn't have many snoozy moments: Oscar winner Ben Affleck hosted, taking on his marriage-is-work gaffe in the opening monologue with wife Jennifer Garner at his side, the show bid dramatic farewell to longtime heavyweight Bill Hader vis a vis his Stefon persona, Amy Poehler returned for a stint on "Weekend Update," and the Hollywood Reporter notes that a "Top of the Pops" sketch may have signaled Fred Armisen's exit as well. Oh, and musical guest Kanye West unveiled two new singles on the show.

We can only hope that the show is over for good?

It's sucked since the Belushi era ... you could never replace that group.

We keep recording the show each time there's a new one and watching the new day, to be able to fast forward through the plethora of commercials, and sadly, nearly ALL of the (lame) sketches. Lorne, PLEASE, stop using no-talent-IDIOTS as the hosts and get some GOOD writers, too! The show has sucked large one for quite some time. Geez, bring back the Not-Ready-For-Prime-Time Players, if need be! Otherwise, CANCEL this mess. And stop using the no-talent musical acts no one has heard of.
