The mayor of the Oklahoma city devastated by a tornado this week says he'll push for a new law requiring all new homes to be built with storm shelters or safe rooms. "We'll try to get it passed as soon as I can," the Moore mayor told CNN. Many Oklahoma houses do not have storm shelters currently, the BBC adds, as they can run up to $5,000 to build. But the shelter-building business is booming in the aftermath of the tornadoes, with one Oklahoma company saying it fielded 600 calls yesterday alone, the Huffington Post reports.
