(Newser) – In a sequel-heavy weekend of film, it was the sequeliest that came out in pole position, with Fast & Furious 6 projected to make at least $122 million this Memorial Day weekend. Moviegoers haven't been racing quite so fast to see Hangover III, which is expected to take in at least $53 million, but may have suffered due to the similar male audience targeted by both flicks, writes the Hollywood Reporter. Rounding out the top three, Star Trek Into Darkness is expected to take in $48 million for the long weekend

Hollywood directors are still running out of ideas no matter how much money they make.

Hot women, hot cars, and lots of action! The only thing that really sucks is the acting.

Amazes me that people are stupid enough to keep shelling out money for these god awful movies. They have no redeeming value. 5 sequels in a decade to movie that ripped off its plot from Point Break.
