(Newser) – What's worse than finding a note on a plane saying, "I'll set this plane on fire"? When the guy next to you stands up and announces everyone on board has been poisoned. That happened today on a flight from Hong Kong to Newark, reports the AP. Despite the disruption, the plane continued on to its destination, and the man was reportedly escorted off by 10 cops upon landing. The FBI says that there is no indication any of the 238 passengers on board were actually poisoned.

Judging by what passes for "food" on an airplane, that statement could be made a million times a day by any traveler on board any aircraft..

the plane continued on to its destination, so the staff didn't buy it, neither did the passengers. the guy was arrested without incident. End of story.
