(Newser) – A Qatari couple trying to drive across the biggest desert in the world has been found dead, reports the BBC. The couple apparently had car trouble in the middle of what's aptly called the Empty Quarter, a desolate stretch of sand more than 600 miles wide where temperatures top 120 degrees and dunes rise to the height of city buildings. The woman was found in or near their SUV and the husband about 6 miles away in an apparently desperate attempt to get help, reports the Telegraph. Police say they had run out of water.

I come from the Empty Quarter. The desert has been crossed from end to end thousands of times. It is just you need to really know it is not a game or an adventure. Don't trust a car in such heat! Instead, let your Camel drinks enough water, hop on, and you should be fine! However, it is plain simple! If you are not from the area, please don't be stupid and look for adventure in the Empty Quarter. 90 percent possibility, you'll die like a suffocated fish. Stay home or go look for adventure in Disney land or something.
