(Newser) – The doomed plane of Italian fashion exec Vittorio Missoni has been located. Venezuela announced today it found the crashed tourist plane, which vanished off the Venezuelan coast after taking off from the Los Roques archipelago in January, Reuters reports. No further details were given. Missoni was onboard with his wife, another couple, the pilot (whose license was expired), and another crew member.

I bet it was found by that borrowed American search boat that found the other downed plane last week. The Italian government pressured Venezuela to use our boat, so that could explain why they are so tight-lipped about the news of finding this and the other plane.
