(Newser) – Justin Bieber might have some kind of hotline to Bill Clinton, but Jay-Z has one to President Obama. They're texting buddies. Jay-Z revealed as much in an interview with radio station Hot97, reports Politico. The president uses lots of sports analogies, says Jay-Z, offering up this example:

  • "When he was getting elected the second time, he was like, 'Hey, you know, fourth quarter, just give me the ball.' I said, 'Word.'"

This is just another example of how the democrats cozy up to entertainment celebs to get Joe Average (the typical American) to vote for them. That's how the democrat party is "populist" in nature, as it attempts to draw on pop culture so it can be perceived as relevant and with the times. In addition to separation of state, we should invoke separation of state and celebrities.

Seriously...WTF is this? This garbage should be relegated to The Enquirer. Unbelievable that the President has got a rapper on speed dial and are "texting buddies," but legitimate national and humanitarian issues can't even get so much as a nod from the President.
