(Newser) – Cory Monteith's autopsy is in, and his cause of death is what everybody expected: Hard drugs and booze. The coroner in British Columbia lays the blame on "mixed drug toxicity, involving heroin and alcohol," reports TMZ. The 31-year-old Glee actor was found in his Vancouver hotel room over the weekend, and he has a long history of trying to get his substance abuse under control. The results "seem to confirm this was an accident," reports ET Online.

When rich and famous die they are always "higher" than nobodies.....Sympathy and the center of attention = heroin advertisement for adolescent....Better to legalize heroin.....Few heroin sellers are going to ask, "Have you been to rehab?" Some will, I think. but that is like the person you pay for gasoline asking if you will drive right.....Cosmetic rehab for the wealthy and/or famous takes a rather heavy toll.... If heroin was legal, less people would die from it--because what is legal is in the open more, and what is in the open more is more subject to control and less hazardous.....

Another Darwin Award winner. Stupidity is thinning the herd, one addict at a time.

Terrible loss? He was a self indulgent weakling who didn't give a damn about anything but his next high. I'm sick and tired of people who moan and groan over the plight of poor sick addicts who can't help themselves and need rehab. It rarely works, as they love their craziness and pleasures too much.
