(Newser) – Even a casual Hollywood observer might have predicted that Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. would land atop Forbes' new top10 list of the highest-paid actors. But who would have bet on Channing Tatum, thanks to Magic Mike, the film he and Steven Soderbergh financed? It cost $7 million and has pulled in $167 million globally, notes EOnline. The first five, based on earnings from June 2012 to June 2013:

  1. Robert Downey Jr., $75 million (The Avengers)
  2. Channing Tatum, $60 million (Magic Mike)
  3. Hugh Jackman, $55 million (Les Miserables)
  4. Mark Wahlberg, $52 million (Ted)
  5. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, $46 million (Fast & Furious 6, GI Joe: Retaliation
Head to Forbes for the full list, with some familiar names like Leo, Cruise, and Denzel helping round out the top 10.

The movies mentioned in this article are all crapola, so the "actors" are quite lucky there are enough sheeple going to see them.
