Did You Pack This Cat Yourself, Sir?

(Newser) – A Texas man got a shock after realizing he'd brought home the wrong suitcase from the airport—and found a cat in it. "I was going to close it, and a kitten jumped out and ran under the bed. I screamed like a little girl," the surprised traveler told the Dallas Morning News. Meanwhile, in Florida, kitty Gracie Mae's owner was frantically checking her missing cat's favorite hiding places.

The Texas man eventually coaxed the cat into the open and called the number on its collar. Gracie Mae, who apparently had sneaked into the suitcase of her owner's husband before a business trip, has been reunited with her family. "If I couldn't have found a good home, I would have kept it," said the Texas traveler. "We were going to name it Suitcase."
