(Newser) – A sad detail from a lightning strike last week that killed a couple at the Grand Canyon—they were young honeymooners, reports the Arizona Republic. Aram Kawewong and Ratchaya Tantranon, both 20, had recently married in Thailand and had come to the US for their honeymoon, the woman's American cousin tells the newspaper. Their remains will be cremated and sent back to Thailand for burial. An American teen from Texas was injured in the same strike—his legs went numb—but he was fine in a matter of hours.

Kind of teaches that we can plan all we want, but we really don't have as much control over what happens in our lives as we like to believe.

Now those are folks that had bad luck the chances of getting struck by lighting is about the same as winning the powerball.
