(Newser) – If you're convinced your bedroom is beset by demons, what is there to do but set your closet on fire? That's the tactic Adam Glenn Hamilton used, according to police. The 30-year-old Arizona man is accused of wandering around near his Avondale home on July 20, reciting Bible verses, before starting the closet fire with paint thinner. His roommates were home at the time; Hamilton explained to police that he meant to inform them about the conflagration but it slipped his mind. He ran away barefoot and was eventually found with burned feet and a lighter, taken to a hospital, and arrested there Monday on arson and other charges, the Arizona Republic reports.

He was a bit young but trust me everyone of my generation has at least once considered fire as a way of banishing the demons of disco by setting afire our leisure suits still living in our closets.

If he believes in hellfire, then all he did was make it more comfortable for his "demons!" Oh, and he "forgot" to tell anyone he was burning his house down? Get a rubber room ready!
