(Newser) – Jose Calderon’s three-point play with 10.5 seconds remaining gave the Toronto Raptors a 114-112 win over the team with the NBA’s best record, the Boston Celtics. Calderon led Toronto with 24 points and 13 assists. Twelve of his points came on three-pointers as the Raptors were on fire from behind the arc, hitting 15-of-21 attempts from distance, reports the Associated Press.

Kevin Garnett led the Celtics with 26 points and Ray Allen and Paul Pierce each had 19. The Celtics had not lost to an Atlantic Division opponent in their previous 10 tries this season. The result of the contest snapped Boston’s three-game winning streak and improved Toronto’s record to 6-2 over the course of their last eight.
