(Newser) – Jay Leno's last night hosting his Tonight Show will be February 6, reports Deadline.com. And this time, it's expected to stick. The decision means that Leno will host right up until the Winter Olympics begin on NBC, and Jimmy Fallon will take over after they end on February 24. Variety confirms the scoop and notes that Leno is going out on a ratings roll: He's trouncing the competition regularly, maybe thanks to high-profile guests such as President Obama. NBC is in talks with Leno to continue some kind of presence with the network once he's done hosting.

Let me tell you guys something,,,,,,,,Jay aint gonna just lay down.I am a student of watching life, and he is gonna do a 180, and be up in NBCs face, and good for him.Ya know, I like all of the late night guys(and sometimes you too Chelsea, and on this, Letterman gets creepier with age, although I always liked him,)But anyway,Jimmy Fallon has learned from Lenos way.He is gracious, very talented, and doesn't resort to attacking others in his profession for lack of coming up with something good on his own.He delivers,,,,,and I cant wait for leno to come back and go head on with Jimmy because I am very curious to see whose victory wins the day.I have no favorite,I like them both, but I cant wait for the war,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
