(Newser) – Edward Snowden's dad says Russia has given him a visa so that he might visit the NSA leaker, reports the AP. Speaking this morning with ABC's This Week, Lon Snowden confirmed that he's got the necessary paperwork, but was mum on when he might make the actual journey. The elder Snowden says that he hasn't spoken directly with his son since he fled the country. He told ABC that while he'd like to see Edward Snowden return to the United States eventually, he doesn't think he could get a fair trial here.

Go, stay there. Don't come back. We don't want you or your traitor son. Why don't you just live there and hit all the brothels with your demon seed. Heck, why not defect? Lee Harvey Oswald did that and he came back and followed his orders well. Who knows what kind of orders you will get from the FSB for your return to the USA. For Oswald, it was to establish a residence in Irving, Texas with a couple known as Ruth and Michael Paine.

Won't get a fair trial here? Ya think? During the Bush admin. the WH leaked secrets to the press. So does Obama's admin. when it suits their agenda. These are the people who should be in jail.
