After Facebook engineers ignored his warning of a bug that allowed users to bypass privacy settings to post on anybody's timeline, a hacker managed to get some fast attention by using the bug on Mark Zuckerberg's page. "First sorry for breaking your privacy and post to your wall, i has no other choice to make after all the reports i sent to Facebook team," the Palestinian hacker wrote on the Facebook chief's page before explaining the security problem, Gizmodo reports. Facebook says the flaw has now been fixed—but because the hacker violated the site's terms of service, he will not be receiving the $500 reward Facebook gives security researchers who find bugs.
