Chase Budinger had 22 points as Arizona beat red-hot No. 6 Washington State 76-64 last night in a Pac-10 game, the Arizona Republic reports. The Wildcats hadn't beaten an opponent ranked this high since beating Oklahoma State in the 2005 NCAA Tournament. The Cougars, 16-2, were holding opponents to 52.5 points coming in. In other Top 25 action:

  • No. 8 UCLA used another big night by freshman Kevin Love to post an 80-75 Pac-10 win over Oregon. Love, playing in his home state, had 28 points and 18 rebounds.
  • Raymar Morgan scored 23 points and No. 10 Michigan State hit 11 of 18 three-pointers in a 78-62 Big-10 rout of Northwestern.
