No, you're not having a nightmare: Kate Gosselin really is back in the news, and in quite a dramatic way. The former star of reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 is suing ex-hubby Jon Gosselin for a laundry list of alleged misdeeds including identity theft, wiretapping, and invasion of privacy, the AP reports. She claims he hacked her phone and computer, accessed private accounts and information, and stole her hard drive, all so he could get information for an e-book written by his friend and business partner. Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World was pulled from sale after just two days because, according to the lawsuit, the information in it was obtained illegally.

"Jon violated a federal anti-hacking statute in order to publish salacious, scandalous, and defamatory information about Kate," says her lawyer. Kate also claims Jon used the information to sell stories to the tabloids. She wants unspecified damages; Gawker notes that the amount is said to be in the multi-millions. Wondering what the Gosselins have been up to since their life as reality TV fixtures ended? Kate runs a coupon website and, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports, Jon lives in a "small cabin"—doing what, we have no idea. But Kate may not be able to get millions out of him, considering earlier this year TMZ reported he was working "a totally normal person job" and owed the government $39,000 in back taxes.
