(Newser) – Al-Qaeda’s leader has called for Muslims to launch small-scale attacks and even boycotts to damage the US economy. In an audio speech released a day after the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Ayman al-Zawahiri urged sustained attacks that will hurt the US by forcing “massive expenditures” on defense and security.
