(Newser) – A five-month-old baby died on an airport baggage carousel in Alicante, Spain. The baby’s American mother had just arrived in Alicante where the child’s Canadian father was already waiting. The family was reportedly traveling to Spain for a vacation in the nearby city of Dénia. An airport security officer told the Daily Mail the mother set the boy's carrier on a conveyor belt for large luggage items. The infant was crushed by machinery after the belt started to move.

What else is new? People leave babies in cars in summer to bake in the heat; and leave baby buckets on car roofs and forget they are there and drive away. These people are breeding faster than cockroaches.

OK, how does a baby on a luggage carousel get crushed. Aren't the carousels built to allow luggage to circulate around the area for people to pick up their bags without them getting crushed? Where does the crush come in????

Do not hold your breath for the autopsy results. Sep. 3 there was report here of man who raped woman who had HIV. His test results were due 3 later and there has never been any update on that anywhere. If the man is negative then the original report had little purpose or meaning: and it will not sell newspapers (or advertising space online based upon hits).
