(Newser) – Ariel Castro's autopsy isn't complete, but WKYC reports that preliminary findings suggest nothing fishy about the Cleveland kidnapper's suicide. He had been left unchecked in his cell for about 30 minutes when guards found him, and the coroner's investigator says Castro hanged himself with his bedsheet from a window hinge. He left no note, but authorities found an open Bible (nothing more specific is offered than John, Chapter 3), a handwritten list of his kids and grandkids, and a second piece of paper with unspecified Bible verses, reports AP.

The 53-year-old was on bent knees—the hinge is 7 feet off the floor—and facing the cell's door when found by the guards, according to the investigator's notes. They removed his homemade noose and tried to save him, but Castro was pronounced dead at the hospital about 90 minutes later. Two guards have been suspended as the investigations into Castro's death continue.

Hey, please stop bashing the Bible. He probably believed in reincarnation-no judgement. (born again). The Bible does speak of being saved (born again) by grace nothing you did or every could do to pay the penalty of sin. That is why God sent the Christ of himself (His only begotten Son, to die for you, to pay the penalty you could never pay. He who knew no sin died for your sins. He gave His life, so you could live for eternity with God. There is no penance that you could pay. With God there is a judgement day. The Bible says The angels write every idle word. The saved are judged. And there will be perfect justice I do believe once saved always saved. Would you throw your children away.(no matter what they did) God's judgement is perfect. When you come to God and believe Jesus died for you- God changes your life.

You know what? The son of a bitch is dead and I hope it was a long and painful death. He was reading the Bible and it obviously meant nothing to him, since he did kill himself, a sin that is supposed to land your ass in hell, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, the bastard is dead and it's time for the world to move on.
