(Newser) – The first award at tonight's Emmy Awards went to Nurse Jackie's Merritt Wever for best supporting actress in a comedy—and while accepting it, an emotional Wever simply said "Thank you so much" a few times and then, "I gotta go." And then she walked off the stage. Seriously. Host Neil Patrick Harris' response: "Best speech ever." Backstage, Wever expanded a bit on her thoughts, Variety reports: "It’s hard to do those," she said, referring to acceptance speeches. "I don’t know how to feel yet. ... I have therapy next week."
