(Newser) – President Obama had a "hot mic moment" yesterday at the UN, and unlike a widely circulated rumor about Obama hating the 4th of July, this one is actually true.
OBAMA: "I hope you've quit smoking."
MAINA KIAI: "Sometimes." (Inaudible)
OBAMA: "No, no, I haven’t had a cigarette probably in six years. That’s because I’m scared of my wife."
Obama was speaking to Maina Kiai, a UN human rights Special Rapporteur. And as with all great candid comments, he likely didn't know he was being recorded.

I smoked for 25 years, though 2 wives pressured me to quit.[#2 and I have now been married 46 years] It took my 3rd heart attack[1990], and resultant bypass surgery, to convince me to quit. My last cigarette was on the way to the hospital. On Aug.16th, last, my cardiologist congratulated me on surviving my 7TH MI since age 32.

Obamanation stopped smoking for the same reason the other Straw Man was afraid of a lit match. As far as being afraid of Michelle, I don't blame him. The bitch has a violent temper.
