Kanye West let loose on Twitter last night, freaking out about a recent Jimmy Kimmel skit in a foul-mouthed, all-caps rant. The Kimmel skit mocked one of West's typically boastful interviews (which included a weird bit about "leather jogging pants"). Some of the less offensive samples of the rapper's reaction:

  • "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS"
  • "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER"
  • "YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???"
  • "SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!"

Gawker has the whole thing in screenshots, including Kimmel's much more measured responses ("apparently @KanyeWest is VERY VERY ANGRY with me....") and a few doctored TwitPics from West. Kimmel swears the whole thing is not one of his well-known pranks (like this one), and he addressed the situation last night on his show, revealing that Kanye called him yesterday and "told me I had two choices, number one, apologize publicly. And that was really the only choice. The other choice he gave was that, 'Your life,' he said, 'is going to be much better if you apologize.'" West also, Kimmel swears, told him, "I am the most powerful voice in media. I am 'Pac." (More Kanye West stories.)
