Seattle Tops San Francisco No. 1 City for Gay Couples
It now has highest percentage of any big city, says Census Bureau

(Newser) – Step aside, San Francisco—Seattle now has the highest concentration of gay couple households in the US. According to the Census Bureau, 2.6% of Seattle households are gay couples—the highest percentage among the nation’s top 50 most populous cities. San Francisco (2.5%) and Minneapolis (2.4%) followed.

2.9%.....As much press as they get you would think 30% of poulation is gay!

They can live wherever they choose and do whatever they choose to do with one another, as long they don't ask me for a donation for AIDS research.

these figures only represent the number of couples who chose to tell the government what the nature of their living arrangement is. most folks are not comfortable sharing personal information with some stranger on the phone or who comes knocking on their door...and they shouldn't be.
