Teenage 'LSD Party' Ends Really, Really Badly
It's kind of tough to illustrate a story about LSD...   (©)

There are destructive teen parties where kids punch holes in the walls ... and then there are ones like the one that was broken up in Mill Valley, California, on Sunday morning. It sounds, quite frankly, nuts: Paramedics showed up at the house around 7:30am in response to reports of a seizure, and were promptly attacked by a 16-year-old boy described as having "superhuman strength," reports the Marin Independent Journal. He was covered in blood and reportedly on LSD, according to a lieutenant with the Marin County sheriff's office, who calls it an "LSD party gone bad."

The paramedics called the sheriff's office for help; deputies arrived, only to encounter a "combative" girl ... leading them to call for backup. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that there were eventually sheriff's deputies and members of five more law enforcement agencies on the scene, where they found about 10 partiers, many bloodied (the blood was apparently traced to the 16-year-old, who hurt himself while under the influence). The home belonged to the family of one of the girls in attendance; it was for sale, and empty. She was cited, and the boy, along with two 18-year-olds, were hit with charges ranging from being under the influence of an unknown substance to resisting arrest. Pot, cocaine, heroin, and a an Ecstasy-like drug were recovered from the home. (More strange stuff stories.)
