(Newser) – Michele Bachmann says we're facing "God's end times," and she finds the proof in President Obama's actions in Syria. He recently waived some arms-export rules in order to offer "non-lethal assistance" to the opposition there, according to the National Security Council, the Hill notes. Or, as Bachmann puts it, "the United States is willingly, knowingly, intentionally sending arms to terrorists," she told radio's Understanding the Times in an interview, as noted by Right Wing Watch. "Your listeners, US taxpayers, are now paying to give arms to terrorists, including al-Qaeda."

"As I look at the End Times scripture, this says to me that the leaf is on the fig tree and we are to understand the signs of the times ... we are to understand where we are in God’s end times history." But "rather than seeing this as a negative, we need to rejoice," she said. "Maranatha, come Lord Jesus, his day is at hand. When we see up is down and right is called wrong, when this is happening, we were told this—these days would be as the days of Noah."

What's impressive is public opinion on military actions in Syria. This is the first time general consensus of the people coalesced with ruling elite. Perhaps Russia played a major role in curtailing US imperialism but it's nice to think that public has a voice.

So lemme get this straight, through all our advances and growth, things get hard and we lean on the doomed god factor? Hmm good too see people are still willing too believe in the human element, to you know " think " be " creative " oh and be "responsible " for our own messes. Bachman, you're just being lazy.
