Facebook Users Can't Hide From Profile Searches

It's now easier for people to find you by name

(Newser) – As if Facebook privacy wasn’t already an oxymoron, the social media site is removing users’ ability to hide their profile from searches. The setting, which allowed users to control who can find their timeline by name, was originally removed for users who weren’t already using it last year. Facebook’s chief privacy officer says they are axing the feature because it’s outdated. Newsy reports:
