(Newser) – Most furloughed federal workers, who went 16 days without pay, will start getting back pay a week from tomorrow. When exactly the back pay starts showing up depends on the payroll provider used by each agency, but most workers will start seeing it Oct. 25, CNN reports. More good news: As part of last night's deal, federal workers should see their first cost-of-living pay increase in three years. The 1% increase would arrive in January.

We could have hired illegal's to take there place and then give the citizenship because they worked (joke) in the US. Then when all the cronies came back they would have to have been promoted because the illegal's would have there job's and all of them would have top shelf health care. (no omomma care that would not be good enough for them and the illegals would not have to pay anything because that's what they pay now and they would live happily ever after.

Wow - getting paid for doing nothing. I REALLY do want a Government job with benefits like these that are paid for by tax-payers. Those folks that chanted "You work for us" when citizens tore down the metal barricades were spot on. Maybe taxpayers should stop working and funding these parasites (from John Kerry down!). Remember - - VOTE EVERY INCUMBENT OUT from now on! Start at the local level - Dog Catcher and work upwards. The U.S. was not founded on the premise that we would have " professional politicians ", though it seems that we have the best amateur ones possible as they gorge at the public trough.
