Guess Who: Ralph Flirts With Bid

(Newser) – Well, hello again: Ralph Nader has revealed an exploratory presidential website, telling Politico that Dennis Kucinich’s exit leaves an electoral niche that might just fit him. Said the consumer advocate-turned-third-partier, "We’re testing the waters on the overriding issue of corporate control, of our political economy, and anything else the dogma of commercialism wants to latch on to.”

The erstwhile Greenie is still up in arms about Democratic efforts to keep him off ballots in 2004, and said “national conspiracy” would be a key phrase if he runs this year. He also mentioned that Ron Paul was “taking some people who think the overriding political issue is corporate domination”—but said he and the libertarian parted ways on regulation.
