Jay Z to Help Barneys With Racial Profiling Scandal

He's sticking with his holiday partnership with the store

(Newser) – Jay Z has announced he's moving forward with his holiday partnership with Barneys New York despite reports of racial profiling at the store. The rapper said in a statement he's agreed to continue with next week's launch of his BNY SCC collection. But he has one condition, writing on his website, "The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policymaking to others ... I will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend, review and revise policies and guidelines moving forward. I am choosing to take this head on." Newsy reports:
