(Newser) – Willie Nelson has suspended his tour indefinitely after three members of his band were hurt when their bus plowed into a bridge pillar in East Texas during rainy conditions. Nelson was not aboard the bus when it crashed about 3:30am local time on Interstate 30 near Sulphur Springs, 75 miles northeast of Dallas. Two band members have minor injuries, while the third was seriously hurt, say police. Their names and conditions weren't immediately released. Seven people were on the bus, including the driver, who was dealing with wet roads and high winds.

They were probably stoned out of their minds and could not see what they were doing. Willie is known here in Austin for his love of the stuff.

It was probably only a matter of time before Willie Nelson's tour bus crashed into a bridge pillar . . . You know, because of the wet roads. Also because it was really windy.
