Wednesday will be the quietest day of the season, says ShopTrak, a firm that tracks shopping across 750 top brands. The deals are particularly plentiful on Black Friday and the Saturday before Christmas, says a rep, "but quieter shopping days also present their fair share of deals for consumers, along with more attentive customer service and a leisurely shopping experience." Other options for avoiding crowds: this coming Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, the Arizona Republic reports. If you're planning to shop today, though, here are some items to skip.
