Just 30 minutes before the fatal crash that took his life, Paul Walker posed next to the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that he was riding in when he died. TMZ has the eerie photos. The car belonged to a friend, and Perez Hilton reports that friend was a former racecar driver: Roger Rodas, CEO of a car customization shop, who had previously raced cars with Walker. The two reportedly decided to take the car from an auto show to a charity event Walker had planned; Rodas was reportedly at the wheel. Both died in the crash.

The Sheriff's Department says speed may have been a factor; the driver lost control and the car ended up wrapped around a tree before bursting into flames. The afternoon crash is still under investigation, the Los Angeles Times reports. (More Paul Walker stories.)
