Future episodes suggest Brian's resurrection

(Newser) – Spoiler ahead: The apparent death of a favorite Family Guy character may not have marked his end. Brian the dog is set to appear in future episodes, Entertainment Weekly reports, including one Dec. 15 in which "Stewie devises a master plan to get the one and only thing he wants for Christmas." Then there's an episode due next season in which Brian develops a crush on a character played by Maya Rudolph. But the details of Brian's likely return—which follows a fan petition begging for his life—remain hazy for now.

Don't watch Family Guy that often; but when I do, it's for Stewie"s continued attempt at world domination and Brian's being the voice of reason in that household
