The bride accused of pushing her new husband off a cliff to his death wrapped day three of her trial yesterday, and this was the day's standout line: "I pushed him and I took off." That was what Jordan Graham said to the FBI in a recorded statement five days after Cody Johnson's body was found in Glacier National Park—with an 8-inch fracture on his forehead and without his wedding ring, the AP reports. She said the two argued, and Johnson grabbed her arm. "It was a quick thing, I just wanted to get him off me," she said to the FBI. "I don't feel like I killed him; I mean I pushed him, but it was an accident."

Meanwhile, Johnson's mom said she consoled Graham after her son's death. "I put my arm around her and said everything will be OK," she said, noting her son had been excited to marry Graham. "Cody's with Jesus now," she told Graham; she got no response. But another family member—Graham's 16-year-old brother Michael Rutledge—had a more emotional turn on the stand the day before. KRTV reports he considered Johnson a good friend, and started crying when he was asked if he was still angry with his sister. "Now not so much. But she could have told us the truth. She had to keep telling lies to cover it up." The trial resumes today. (More Cody Johnson stories.)
