(Newser) – A 23-month-old boy fell from a second-floor window in Italy last week, but fortunately for him, Luigi Barbanera was passing by at the exact right moment. Barbanera, a former goalkeeper and current penitentiary officer, saw the toddler learning over the ledge and quickly positioned himself underneath, the Huffington Post reports, citing local media. Neighbors and passers-by contacted police and tried to tell the boy to stay on the ledge, the Local reports, but he eventually fell—and was caught by Barbanera. Both were knocked to the ground, but amazingly, Barbanera's body cushioned the tot's fall and neither was injured. The boy's mother had left him sleeping for a few minutes while she hung up laundry.

Ok things like this don't just happen everyday while a mother goes and hangs up the laundry. She is an irresponsible mother and her parenting should be questioned. Number one, who leaves the window open, knowing that their baby has access to the window. Number two, why would you leave your baby alone in the house to go hang up laundry, and number three, why are we still hanging laundry outside in 2013 almost 2014. I'm glad that the baby is ok but this is ridiculous. There is something sketchy about this and I don't like it not one bit.

The stupid mother should have always prepared for the baby's safety, and removed any danger to the child. Evidently, the child didn't mean enough to her.

It was a bad pass! We could have scored! Next time we need to send one spinning and see if he catch it. Looks like Spartak is gonna get a new goalie...
