(Newser) Friends star Matthew Perry is reportedly embracing nostalgia with a script deal for a new CBS comedy: a remake of The Odd Couple. The story, which started out on Broadway, became a film in the late '60s and then a TV series in 1970, follows Oscar Madison, an easygoing, messy bachelor, and Felix Ungar, the uptight clean freak he ends up living with after both men get divorced. Perry told Deadline Hollywood the movie is the inspiration behind his vision: "[I]t has been a dream for me to play Oscar Madison. … The search for Felix Ungar is on!" Not only will he star in the upcoming show, but he will also executive produce and help write it.

They were talking about this on the radio today, sounded like Matt LaBlanc could play Oscar and Perry would play Felix. But after reading the posts below, Perry playing Oscar and Schwimmer playing Felix sounds cool too.
