(Newser) – What in the world to do when you have more clothes than your fancy penthouse apartment has closet space for? If you're Rihanna, the solution is simple: Convert three of the four bedrooms into closets. That's what sources tell Page Six she's doing at the $39,000-per-month, two-story New York City pad. One source adds that Rihanna "hopes to make Manhattan her home." (Meanwhile, she's embroiled in legal drama surrounding her former Beverly Hills home.)

I don't see that as so strange. I have a friend who is definitely not rich (they make about 60k/yr), but she had her husband install those wire shelving clothes racks on *every* wall in their closets, their bedroom, their 3-year old sons bedroom, the laundry room, and in an open area of their basement. She told me she had over 200ft long of hanger/shelf space,in addition to shoe racks on the inside of all closets and the back of both bedroom doors. I'm really surprised she didn't make him convert the entire 975 sq ft basement into a closet to look like a clothing store! Now *that* girl loves her clothes... You Go Grl!!

$39,000 a month? I have no problem with rich people spending their own money that they earned. I just wish the President and Congress would learn to use "their" money from "their" wages for all of their "hair-brained" ideas (Hi jeremycr)
