(Newser) – The latest "smart" product? Your bed. Launched at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sleep Number has rolled out a dual-mattress bed that does everything from tracking your sleeping habits to making your partner stop snoring. Called the x12, the $8,000 bed can reportedly track breathing, heart rate, and even whether you’re lying still or moving over the course of the night—and then, using that data, give you advice on how to get a better night's sleep. The bed will also reportedly listen to commands—using the sound of your voice to initiate under-bed lighting, built-in massage, and the anti-snore feature, which raises the angle at which your partner is sleeping to at least temporarily relieve snoring.

How does it work with a partner's passing wind in his sleep?

"which raises the angle at which your partner is sleeping to at least temporarily relieve snoring. Newsy reports." I can do that by turning my partner on their stomach without the 8 thousand dollar expense. And I don't need a bed that talks to me: "Sir, what are you doing to her?" "None of your business." "But Sir, you keep pumping in and out." "Shut up and mind your own business."
