(Newser) – Tupac Shakur is headed to Broadway—kind of. A new musical will reportedly be made up entirely of the late rapper's lyrics, but reports claim Holler If Ya Hear Me isn't actually about the rapper at all. The plot is about two friends living in the inner city in the Midwest, and Shakur's mother is serving as a producer for the show. The Broadway preview begins May 26, and the show opens June 19 at Broadway's Palace Theatre.

I heard this musical is written inaccurately. In the end Tupac is killed by .38, when in real life he was killed with several rounds from an Oozie.
