It's not every crime story that involves the phrase "indecent acts with dairy products," but this one involves a suspect called the "Swiss Cheese Pervert." Philly police arrested 41-year-old Christopher Pagano today, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer (which had no choice but to use the aforementioned phrase). Pagano is accused of approaching multiple women with a hunk of cheese, exposing his genitals, and asking the women to place the cheese exactly where you think someone called the Swiss Cheese Pervert would ask them to place it.

After the story first came to light on the Mayfair TownWatch Facebook page last week, lots of women came forward to say they had been similarly harassed. "This guy has been doing this stuff for years," wrote one woman. “Online and at bars on Frankford Ave. A few years ago he walked up to a couple friends of mine and asked them to help him with the cheese. Then pulled down his pants.” After that, the local Daily News reported that local women were getting creepy cheese come-ons at online dating sites. All the publicity helped detectives find their suspect. (More weird crimes stories.)
