DC Madam Says She'll Name Names

Posted May 1, 07 9:15 AM CDT in US Politics

(Newser) – A White House economist, the head of a conservative think tank, lobbyists, military brass and a prominent CEO—they’re among pay-to-play clients DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey says she'll finger, ABC and the Post report. Palfrey said at a press conference yesterday she’s “genuinely sorry" if her clients are hurt by being identified.

But she needs them as witnesses, she said—to testify that they had fantasy sex, not the real thing, of course. "I'm sure as heck not going to federal prison . . . because I'm shy about bringing in the deputy secretary of whatever."  That would be Randall Tobias, the State Department official who resigned last week after his number turned up in her phone records.
