(Newsy) (Newser) – Jurors yesterday found former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Josh Brent guilty of intoxication manslaughter in an accident that killed friend and teammate Jerry Brown. Brent, 25, was convicted of driving drunk and crashing his Mercedes in December 2012 and faces a maximum 20-year prison sentence with possible probation. Brent’s defense had argued the prosecution couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was intoxicated. But all prosecutors had to do was point to Brent’s blood alcohol level—0.189, reportedly meaning he had 17 drinks.
