(Newser) – Philip Seymour Hoffman hadn't quite finished his work on the final installment of the Hunger Games movies, but modern technology will save the day. Hoffman plays a key character, head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee. He still had one crucial scene left, and Page Six of New York Post reports that camera tricks and computer graphics will be used to build the scene—including a possible digital recreation of Hoffman himself.

Digital actors don't need a trailer, a ridiculous list of demands nor millions in salary. We won't have to listen to them spout off their liberal nonsense on talk shows or watch them adopt designer children from third world countries. Digital actors don't get divorced and remarried 6 times nor do they have children out of wedlock. They also don't need a team of PR agents to explain all their dysfunction. The world would be a better place without actors, since we have enough in DC already. Come to think of it, we sure could use some digital politicians that vote according to the wishes of the public that elected them.
