(Newser) – A Massachusetts woman was arrested this week after racking up a taxi fare so high she couldn't afford to pay it. Denise Rebelato, 31, hailed a cab at New York's JFK Airport and got a ride all the way to the Boston area. After the four-hour trip, she couldn't pay the $980 fare, even though the cabbie says she knew the approximate cost up front. She faces larceny charges, but they'll be dropped if she comes up with the money soon.
