Kate Hudson, Fiance 'Leading Separate Lives'

Trouble in paradise for Kate Hudson and fiancé Matt Bellamy? Sources tell the New York Daily News that the actress and the Muse frontman, who've been engaged for nearly three years, might split. The problem is that Hudson travels a lot and prefers to be based in LA, while Bellamy remains in London, where his band is based and where the couple owns a house together. (The Daily News says the expectation was that she'd spend half the year in London after they made the $6 million purchase.)

"Matt is pretty down-to-earth and happy in England, while Kate is very LA-focused," says a source. "They are leading separate lives. It hasn’t been working out the way they planned and they’ve been trying very hard for the sake of their son," who was born in 2011. Hudson and Bellamy haven't been spotted together in months, but a rep for Hudson denies the split rumors. (More Matt Bellamy stories.)
