(Newser) – Seven months after famously cutting ties with the Church of Scientology, Leah Remini is opening up about why she left. The former King of Queens star tells BuzzFeed that the church made her lose sight of her family. "In my house, it's family first—but I was spending most of my time at the church. So, I was saying 'family first,' but I wasn't showing that. I didn't like the message that sent my daughter." Plus, daughter Sofia was reaching the age for auditing, an intense questioning practice to gain entry into Scientology, and Remini didn’t want her to go through the process.

I am an atheist and naturalist. But if I rejected everything, ipso facto, merely because it is supported or spoken by a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, polytheist, Hellenist or Jew I would be compelled to reject all of philosophy, logic, reason & science

Because it's a sh*t-show of socially accepted insanity? Par the course. It's called 'Religion.'

.....There are many reasons why our Lord, Jesus, allows some people to be skewered and sewered down into and linger in various forms of surfing the tides of hell; and, SCIENTOILETGY, mass-producer of potential zombies, is one of the greatest flushers. Just another false prophet filled with empty claims, worthless lifestyles; and a drain on the victim's wallet. The grand wolves in sheep's silks.
